The Indian Air Force is accepting online applications for the selection test scheduled to begin on 22nd March 2025 for unmarried Indian male and female candidates to join the Air Force as Agniveervayu Intake 01/2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
For Science Stream Candidates:
- Must have passed Intermediate/10+2/12th or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and English from a recognized board, with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- OR, completed a 3-year full-time diploma course in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Mechanical, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, IT) from a recognized Polytechnic institute, with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- OR, completed a two-year vocational training course including Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board, with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
For Other Streams:
- Must have passed Intermediate/10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board, with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- OR, completed a two-year vocational course from a recognized board, with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Age Limit:
- Candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.

– Test candidates’ adaptability to the Air Force environment, such as working in diverse and challenging conditions. | |
Phase IV | Medical Examination |
– Candidates who clear the written exam, PFT, and adaptability tests will undergo a medical examination as per Indian Air Force standards. |
